About Us

wellplanned-man_yellow1

Celerity designs, builds, services and maintains fiber optics and wireless infrastructure. Our experience, and the experience of our workers, spans many more than our 20 years in business. We have witnessed and impacted the industry’s evolving technology by applying old world craftsmanship and personal service to each task.

We proudly serve telecommunications companies, electric utility companies, education and healthcare organizations using the most efficient network technology available, through all phases of pre-planning, construction, splicing, testing and close out documentation.

Every need is different which is why we work closely with our customers, listening and defining the scope of work. Applying our know-how to the design of each plan, precisely according to their goals, accounting for expansion and future growth. We craft the scope of work into a proposal that becomes the contract. We spell out exactly the services we will provide so there are no surprises.

When we build a network, it’s going to be reliable, it’s going to be easy to maintain and it’s going to last as long as it possibly can. We respond to emergencies immediately, restoring networks as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Well Planned.

Well Crafted.

Well Done.

The proof of our work is accurate reporting and documentation. Built from an engineer's perspective, each job is chronicled through the eyes of a historian. Milestones for navigating the seen and unforeseen. At the end, all documentation is handed to our customers in electronic and hard copy formats.

From the quality of the people we hire to the quality of the tools, equipment and vehicles we purchase, our team has the knowledge and protection to do each job efficiently, safely and go home at the end of the day to their families.

For our clients, and the people who count on their networks, we promise our best.

Philosophy of
Excellence

Celerity’s philosophy is simple: provide the highest level of service and exceed our customer’s expectations with professionalism and quality.

Quality craftsmanship is designing and building the infrastructure for high tech communications. We are thorough, agile and responsive.

Driven by new standards, born of customer needs, we strive for craftsmanship delivered at the speed of technology, which is Celerity—the origin of our name. We set standards:  in pre-job preparation, in craftsmanship, in documentation as well as in customer satisfaction.

Demand for connectivity and bandwidth continue to surge, creating a need for service providers to build new infrastructure and maintain existing systems to accommodate the growing requirements.

Celerity’s services span the entirety of a project from front end engineering to well-built and well documented construction. We provide characterization for optimized performance, service & maintenance and emergency restoration services for both fiber optic and wireless infrastructures.

From engineering to construction and through to testing and maintenance, Celerity is known for taking the time to understand the scope of a project—its present purpose and its connection to the future—the next mile. It’s that ability to look beyond the imminent that puts us a cut above the competition.

Our documentation, from pre-job planning to close out package, equips our customers with the critical information needed to manage, test, analyze, maintain and plan the path forward and onto the next mile. We strive to eliminate waste and redundancy, always thinking one step ahead—to keep our customers ahead as well.

What Our CLients Say

 â€ś

Rob Krepps, Technology Director, Questeq Inc. for Big Spring School District
Celerity is the company that can help you navigate the difficult process of building a self-provisioned dark fiber network for your organization. In 2020-21, Celerity completed an underground and aerial fiber link that connected our elementary schools to the Big Spring School District main campus network. They facilitated every step: planning, feasibility, engineering, and construction. Their experience navigating through state and local municipality permits and red tape exceeded our expectations.”

Leadership

Launched on October 1, 2002, Celerity is owned and operated by the Leight family. President, Ron Sr. (Senior), Vice President, Ron Jr. (JR) and Vice President, Deron.

Taking niche skills from their prior telecommunications experience, the Leights built Celerity according to their vision to service a select group of customers with fiber splicing services. Working closely each day, each quickly took leading roles in the work.

Senior brought wisdom gained over 25 years in the telecommunications business. JR took charge of the fleet of specialty vehicles and apparatus, managing safety as well as the facilities. Deron, trained in climbing and splicing, reached out to prospects promoting the Celerity capabilities. With a background in writing, he influenced the marketing, development and branding efforts for Celerity.

Along the way, the Leights welcomed each new employee to their extended family. Sharing their business philosophy, and training according to their culture. Continuously striving to create safe and efficient procedures for successful networks. Expanding their offerings to include engineering and construction.

The Leights continue to gauge their success by the quality of each job, the camaraderie and culture of the crews and each person’s continually advancing skillsets. Celerity has now grown to over 50 employees.
