DAS Maintenance
and ERS

A Program Management firm was searching for a local contractor to provide emergency restoration services for a 75 node oDAS network near Philadelphia, PA that they recently inherited from a previous Program Management Firm.

The firm requested that Celerity provide a proposal illustrating our pricing, availability and willingness to support the firm’s ERS needs. The Program Manager was initially interested in hiring Celerity due to our exemplary reputation in providing emergency restoration and service & maintenance for both fiber optic and wireless customers.

The Challenge

The maintenance program requires that the network be routinely inspected. Immediately following the signing of the contract, Celerity was tasked with the routine inspection which required that we examine each node, advise the Program Manager of any issues that required immediate repair and suggest preventative maintenance measures. Unfortunately, following a review of our findings, the Program Manager and Celerity determined that the overall network had fallen into a state of disrepair. Celerity and the Program Manager developed a plan to bring the entire network up to optimal operating capacity and the work was diligently performed by Celerity drawing upon our vast experience and demonstrated proficiency in both fiber and wireless infrastructure.

The Outcome

Since receiving the contract, Celerity has provided services as simple as routine maintenance to scrambling emergency response teams to perform full scale emergency restoration work. Celerity and the Program Manager have even worked together on the complete wreck out and rebuild of an entire node due to lightning damage.
