Quakertown, Pennsylvania. May 12, 2022. Celerity participated in Northampton Community College’s Lineworker Training Program Employer Day in Bethlehem, PA.
Northampton Community College recently hosted their semi-annual NCC Lineworker Training Program Employer Day. This event supports recent graduates, many of whom are prospecting careers in the Telecommunications industry.
NCC offers an introductory lineworker training program, which educates students in the basics of telecommunications and electrical line work.
The Employer Day event included an interactive panel event as well as outside demonstration by class members for employer representatives, including climbing and descending poles.
Celerity's Human Resources Representative, Bill Wehbe, and Construction Manager, Sven Albright articulated our services, advancement opportunities and training 1-on-1 with prospecting students.
Through years of attending this event, Celerity has developed a special relationship with the program. We have offered employment to numerous graduates from the program, many still employed today.
After attending the Employer Day event, Bill Wehbe said, “What impressed me the most about the entire day was the student’s dedication to their craft.”
He added, "The seriousness by which they asked questions in the pursuit of knowledge that would assist in making the correct decision regarding their career path was inspiring."
