Our first annual Food Truck event took place on Thursday, June 13^th and was hosted on-site for all employees and their families to enjoy.

Food was served by the 2023 Food Truck Warz champions Blue Haze BBQ, offering their barbecued meats and homemade sides, surpassing their mouthwatering reputation. We had outstanding desserts from Dough and Co., serving ice cream and cookie dough.

Celerity had an excellent turnout with employees from all departments along with their families enjoying good food, raffled gift baskets, and fun lawn games.

We are grateful to everyone who came out to the event. We want to give a huge shoutout to Blue Haze BBQ and Dough and Co. for serving amazing food and desserts!

While rewarding employee achievements is important to us, we take a larger responsibility in donating food to our community. Celerity routinely hosts Food Drives collecting both non-perishable food items, toiletries and financial donations. You can read more about our most recent donation here.

Quakertown, Pennsylvania. April 12, 2024. Celerity participated in the Blazer Internship & Career Fair at Daniel Boone Area High School in Birdsboro, PA.

Celerity educated graduating students on possible careers in the telecommunications industry through discussions, promotion of our Apprenticeship Program, and through a live demonstration highlighting our craft.

Thank you to the staff at Daniel Boone Area High School for arranging the Blazer Internship & Career Fair. Our next stop is Quakertown High School on May 9th, 2024!

On October 24th, Celerity participated in the Careers of Tomorrow Expo, hosted by the Montgomery County Commerce Department and Montgomery County Workforce Development Board. This multi-industry career fair was an opportunity for Celerity to introduce students and teachers to the Fiber Optic Splicing career path.

Montgomery County's Workforce Development board states, "the goal of this event, held at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA, is to encourage our next generation of workers to consider career paths leading to positions in southeast PA that face a potential worker shortage within the next ten years or that are otherwise vital to the regional economy."

Quakertown, Pennsylvania. May 2, 2023. Celerity participated in Northampton Community College’s Lineworker Trainee Program Spring Employer Day in Bethlehem, PA.

This bi-annual event allows local employers to meet graduating students, in action, as they display their learned skills. Celerity had a designated table set up in a large conference room.

After the outdoor pole climbing demonstration, Celerity shared our ethos as a company to prospecting students. Students participated in a question-and-answer session where they posed questions to each of the employers. The event is a great way for NCCC students and local employers to connect, leading to potential employment that will help them begin a career in the construction and telecommunication fields.

Through years of attending this event, Celerity has developed a special relationship with the program. We have offered employment to numerous graduates from the program, many still employed today.

Allentown, Pennsylvania. January 27, 2023. Celerity hosted a family event night at the PPL Center in Allentown, PA to watch the Lehigh Valley Phantoms take on the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

"GRITTY and Lou Nolan were on hand to cheer on the Phantoms to victory on Flyers Night as the team sported their new Whiteout jerseys for the first time. Lehigh Valley took to the ice wearing a bold, new all-white combo including white pants and white gloves. As the game developed, it appeared the Penguins had a tough time matching the intensity of the Phantoms’ bright new look."

The Phantoms pulled out of a tie with the Penguins, allowing Lehigh Valley to pull ahead in the Atlantic Division standings.

All Celerity employees and immediate family members were welcomed to participate. Several staff and family members came out to represent Celerity in the stands!

Quakertown, Pennsylvania. January 3, 2023. This holiday season, Celerity collected nonperishable food items for the Zionsville Food Pantry. The Zionsville Food Pantry benefits families in the Upper Milford area.

Food drives are excellent opportunities to make a difference in the lives of our less fortunate community members, as the areas serviced are faced with an increasing number of families in need. 

Through years of collecting, Celerity has developed a relationship with Zionsville Food Pantry. We continue to provide to the food drive throughout the year.

On Friday September 30th, Celerity celebrated our 20 Year Anniversary celebration dinner at the Blue Grill House in Bethlehem, PA.

This celebratory event provided an opportunity for coworkers and their spouses/guests to get to know members of other departments within Celerity, participate in Celerity trivia and celebrate our accomplishments! 

Celerity would like to extend a thank you to the staff of Blue Grill House for helping make the event possible.
